Learning program

In partnership with the East Nile Youth Organization and the British Council, MTN-Sudan implemented a programming language learning program for the pupils at basic stage. Through this project the Company aimed at increasing the pupils’ knowledge of software technology Computer programming (coding) and boost their knowledge on the basics of programming language, especially in light of the global trend towards greater openness in this technology and its use in all fields. The project started on the 3rd   and continued through the 13th day of September (3 hours a day).

Eng. Ibrahim Karim ad-Din, the Coding Instructor for Kids extended thanks to the Company for sponsoring this project and for its valuable contribution to introducing the programming language to basic stage pupils, expressing his happiness for the many benefits the pupils will earn at the end of the project, indicating that the programming language helps motivate them to think outside of the box and open opportunities for children to learn many skills and acquire high capabilities for future challenges.

Ustaz ad-Dardiri Mohamed Ahmed, Social Responsibility Manager at MTN-Sudan, reiterated that the programming language for pupils is one of the most prominent projects implemented by the Company in partnership with the East Nile Youth Organization, stressing that such programs directly support the Company’s strategy in the area of education in future.

Given its great impact on the future generations and the country in general, Ustaz ad-Dardiri pledged to continue these projectس and work to develop them to maximize the benefit gained from them.
