Overview of Projects

Overview of ( Youth Empowerment , education , Health , Entrepreneurship)projects:

  • 2007 – MTN staff were fully dedicated & directed their physical efforts and limited budget towards two projects 1/ Rehabilitation works & meet basic daily regular needs in Dar Al Mayguma for  Orphans Childs 2/Elders Care project.
  • 2008 – Plantation & Environment correctness campaigns: Planting of 17,700 trees. .
  • In 2009, 86 smallest scale projects were delivered to the community under the micro finance program (MFP)in partnership with SUDIA & Sudan Saving Bank, in rotating fund base, now 285 projects were executed with an average of 1086 beneficiaries.
  • 2009, 2017 & 2018 contribution to Solve the water problem in three states benefiting 150,000 families.
  • 2010 – 2019 Orphans students support project benefiting 3560 students
  • 2011 Donated 18 medical equipment(sets) to 18 main teaching hospitals throughout the country.
  • Rehabilitation works in the “Childs Cancer” hospital and 3 main hospital benefiting 1000 persons daily
  • plantation & environment correctness campaigns: Plantation of 17,000 trees.
  • Contributed  &participated in execution of 7 environment’s correctness campaigns under (7*7*7*7)program.
  • 2013 Basic Computer Training for women with disabilities project benefiting 1550 (majority women)
  • 2013, 2016 & 2019 NP project, Natural crisis (Rain and Floods and Others) benefiting about 6000 families yearly.
  • 2010 – 2015, 31 Free eye camp partnership with albasar charity organization benefiting 124350 persons, 12000 surgeries were done, 47000 glasses were distributed and monthly follow up.
  • 2015 – 2018 ICT for elementary school teachers training benefiting 3750 teachers.
  • 2015 – 2018 Schools Rehabilitation project benefiting 16000 students yearly
  • 2015 – 2019 6 scientific trips for Sudanese historical places with partnership with UNESCO benefiting 512 students
  • 2017 – Telecom lab for Telecom Engineering Students benefiting 1300+ students.
  • 2017 – 7 Interactive White Boards (IWBs pilot project), with intensive training for the elementary school teachers in partnership with UNESCO benefiting 1350 students.
  • 2017 – 2019 Environmental Forums, 14 environment forums with different topics benefiting 300+ persons per forum
  • 2018 – Street heroes project benefiting 48 homeless
  • 2018 – House Farms Project benefiting 300 families
  • 2018 – 2019 Do It Yourself project for persons with disabilities to train in 3Rs and E-marketing workshop benefiting 150 persons
  • 2018 – 2019 Two indaba conference sponsor (SA & Kenya),benefiting 40 students and Indaba X in Sudan benefiting 500+ students  ( teaching art in machine learning and artificial intelligence with experts, professionals)
  • MTN continuous training (computer)labs are running including a lab for disables (1860 beneficiaries).
  • Short Code Number1616 to support education of the Orphans students.
  • Aimed to raise fund from MTN subscribers to support the basic education for orphan students, started by 1500 in Khartoum , Kassala and South Kordofan states,(500)orphan students in each state .
