MTN launched a new training program called "Al-Manssa" (The Platform). The initiative aims to support and empower Sudanese content creators by offering a series of specialized workshops in digital media and electronic marketing, enhancing their skills and keeping pace with rapid digital transformation.
In her statement about the initiative, Ms. Noon Alrasheed, Senior Manager of Corporate Communications and Community Impact, expressed her delight with the program. She explained that the platform was designed in response to the urgent need to support these creatives, especially under current circumstances. Their efforts in sharing outstanding content were the main motivation behind integrating technology into their daily lives and enabling them digitally. She emphasized that youth engagement and digital transformation are key priorities for MTN.
For his part, Hatim Babiker, General Manager of the Digital Services Department, said that the platform offers a space for training and development through expert-led workshops that combine technology and creativity. It helps creators produce work that reflects Sudanese identity in innovative and effective ways, while also creating new income opportunities and supporting them in overcoming technical and artistic challenges.
Participants in the first edition were carefully selected to ensure broad representation of various content creator segments. The program includes influencers and professionals from local media institutions to enhance the interactive experience.
"The Platform" reflects MTN Sudan’s vision of integrating digital services with social responsibility, affirming that investing in talent and creativity is the path toward an advanced digital future that preserves Sudanese culture and showcases it to the world.
